The suspect is accused of putting down a 23-year-old from Oldenburg in a parking lot of a fast food restaurant on October 31 of last year and stolen his smartphone. According to reports, he also threatened the victim with a knife and demanded money. However, the young man was able to escape while the suspect fled from the crime scene with a vehicle.

As part of the investigation, three other men aged 20, 22 and 41 were also targeted by the towns of Gronau, Hildesheim and Elze, which are also suspected of acting drugs. On February 26, 2025, the police carried out several apartment searches to collect further evidence. The investigation is still underway, and the officials are looking for information on the suspects and their activities.
