Security campaign at the main train station: Police ensure 15 knives!

On April 16, 2025, the Federal Police Hamburg, together with the state police, carried out a large -scale deployment at Hamburg Central Station to prevent violence and to control the weapons ban in local public transport (public transport). Between 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., 65 emergency services searched a total of 1012 people. The message was clear: weapons lost nothing in rail traffic!

The results speak a clear language: 22 dangerous objects were ensured, including 15 knives and a pepper spray. In addition, the police distributed around 150 information flyers about the weapon ban zone around the main train station. These measures aim to reduce dangerous objects and increase security for all passengers.
