Strict controls at Lübeck Central Station: Weapons and Drugs discovered!

On Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the police at Lübeck main station carried out intensive control in order to implement the prohibition of weapons and knives in public local and long-distance transport. Between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., the forces of the 2nd police station and the municipal regulatory service checked around 70 people, especially travelers from incoming trains and passers -by in the change hall.

The result of this loud action: Several people were confronted with administrative offenses, special attention was paid to a suspect in which a prohibited weapon was discovered. In addition, an additional criminal complaint was made due to amphetamines, which led to an investigation according to the Narcotics Act. The emergency services thus show unmistakably that they are going against illegal weapons and drugs in public space - a clear signal for security in the city!
