Rönneburg, Deutschland - On February 11, 2025, a tragic train accident occurred in the Rönneburg district, south of Hamburg. An ICE with 279 passengers collided with a tractor -trailer at a level crossing at around 3 p.m. In this accident, a 55-year-old man died, who could initially be revived with life-threatening injuries, but then died later. In addition, several passengers were injured - another man seriously and easy.

The rescue workers were quickly at the scene of the accident, with the Hamburg fire brigade with around 80 emergency services and a rescue helicopter took over the care of the injured.
