In particular, marketing via social media gives the genre a buoyancy, with numerous recommendations under the hashtag #booktok on platforms such as YouTube and Instagram. The new books are characterized by an appealing design in pastel tones and artistically designed cuts, which makes them particularly attractive. Although the focus is on young adults, the books are of course available to all library visitors. In the future, the offer is to be expanded to include graphic novels.
