Emder Volleys fight, but TuSpo Weende wins in the thriller!

The Emder Volleys lost an exciting home game against TuSpo Weende 1: 3. In an exciting duel in front of 150 spectators in the sports hall of Blau-Weiß Borssum, the team of coach Nils Ciach had to defeat despite impressive performance. The game started promising for the Emden women, who took the lead with a strong first set. But in the further course the team lost the thread and could not hold the lead. The crucial fourth sentence was particularly dramatic in which the volleys could not use a 24:21 lead. TuSpo Weende finally prevailed with 28:26 and secured the overall victory. Yasmin Cornelius was chosen as the most valuable player on Emder. Next Saturday Emden will meet SV Bad Laer and urgently need points to get out of the relegation zone.
