The life of a motorcyclist can be dramatically changed at a moment full of freedom and speed. Yesterday a tragic accident occurred on Landstrasse 146 near St. Blasien-Menzenschwand, which seriously injured a 28-year-old two-wheeler.
The young driver lost control of his motorcycle in a curve and fell directly into the way of an oncoming car. The collision was inevitable and led to serious injuries that required immediate treatment. A rescue helicopter was alerted and the motorcyclist was flown to a clinic in Freiburg.
Thanks to the rapid reaction of the rescue team, the occupants of the car survived the collision unharmed. However, the property damage to the vehicles was considerable and amounted to around 18,000 euros. The police, fire brigade and emergency services were on site to cope with the situation and help the injured.
It is important to emphasize the importance of safety precautions and precautionary measures in road traffic at such moments.
