In within four consecutive days, strangers caused a sensation when they searched for a total of seven kindergartens and schools in Emmendingen, Herbolzheim and Kenzingen. The police speaks of a high property damage caused by the burglaries.

The authorities are currently still looking for the perpetrators who obviously did not make a particularly professional job in the burglaries. Although a small amount of cash was stolen in one case, it is believed that the unknowns could not capture any valuable objects overall. According to the police report, their approach was unstructured and not very expedient.

In Kenzingen-Hecklingen it hit the Catholic kindergarten St. Andreas.
