In the night of October 6, 2024, there was a assault on the market square in Emmendingen at around 3.20 a.m. After a verbal argument, two young men beat a 39-year-old and slightly injured him. The police are now looking for witnesses who could have observed the incident. The perpetrators are described as follows: the first was about 185 cm tall with a strong stature, wore a bomber jacket and had large hands. The second man was about 170 cm tall, had a normal stature and was dressed in a black hat and a black jacket.
