RB Leipzig disappointed again: coach Rose is under pressure!

Freiburg, Deutschland - rb Leipzig had to be satisfied with a goalless draw against SC Freiburg in the Bundesliga on Sunday. According to this result, coach Marco Rose is criticized because he failed to lead the team to victory. After the game, Leipzig remains in sixth place in the table, only two points behind Freiburg, which is in fifth place.

To motivate the team, Rose had organized a short training camp at the sister club RB Salzburg. This camp, which included both training and relaxing activities, should give Leipzig an energy kick. On the matchday, however, the Leipziger had to do without Lukas Klostermann and Christoph Baumgartner, who were missing due to gastrointestinal problems. The game in the Europapark Stadium watched 32,900 spectators, but the offensive efforts of Leipzig remained largely harmless.

Freiburg's strong defensive and goalless game

The Freiburg defensive was strong in the game and gave little chance for the Leipziger. Only Lucas Höler had a significant opportunity for Freiburg in the first half, which, however, remained unused. On the other hand, Freiburg's goalkeeper Noah Atubolu set up a club record by staying without conceding for 509 minutes. After the change of sides it remained low in the chance, the two goalkeepers were not seriously challenged, and the game ended without goals.

At a press conference, Marco Rose commented on the challenges of the past few weeks and his plans to reactivate his team. He reported that the mini camp was doing well with the players and served as a small energy source. The close cooperation and the time spent together were part of his plan to revitalize the "sluggish" Leipzig. Rose also rejected questions about his future at Leipzig and his relationship with Jürgen Klopp, but was positive about the warm welcome to his former employer.

The challenge for Leipzig is growing because the gap to the upper table places will not be lower, and the upcoming games will be decisive for the season.
