Vocational trade fair future: Successful conversations bring trainees!

In the Ennepe-Ruhr district, the vocational training fair "Future EN" took place, in which 110 companies and institutions took part in order to contact over 3,100 young people. This event is particularly important because around 75 applicants come to 100 training positions, which increases the competition on the training market. The exhibition sites were highly in demand, many even fully booked, both in Witten and in Ennepetal.

An outstanding example of the fair was the Gevelsberg company Haas street and civil engineering, which was exhibited for the first time. At the well -attended booth, they were able to show the students clearly how fulfilling the work in road construction is. The commitment paid off: just three days after the fair, a training contract for 2024 was signed.
