Lüdenscheid, Deutschland - police and customs started a massive effort against undeclared work in hairdressing salons and barbershops in the Märkisches Kreis! 52 companies in the region were checked for nationwide “action days”. Investigators surveyed 115 employees and searched 32 business documents, and in 17 cases they encountered suspicions that indicate violations of the minimum wage law. Another 17 companies could be in the fire line with regard to the lack of social security contributions.

The control campaign mobilized 41 customs officials, 21 police officers and other official employees.
