In Schalksmühle, the summer festival "Schalksmühle Sommerlich" is celebrated with an exciting dance weekend, which has numerous activities for both children and seniors. On Saturday, September 7th, the first dancers swing their legs until the evening.

The Sunday, September 8th, is all about the youngest and the older generation. From 1 p.m. it starts with a special program for children under the motto "Sonnenkids". In cooperation with the dance school S from Lüdenscheid, the experienced dancer Dirk Weiland wants to motivate the children to discover the dancing and experience the fun of the movement.

But the weekend has more to offer: the end is the event "Summerly in time", which begins at 3:30 p.m. This event is particularly aimed at the older generation and offers an excellent opportunity to move to live music.
