Chairman Schießl remains: Alpenkranzl Erding is urgently looking for successors!

Erding, Deutschland - The chairman of Alpenkranzl Erding, Hermann Schießl, will initially remain in office until April 2024. Although the 57-year-old originally wanted to step down earlier, no successor was found at the annual general meeting at the end of October. Schießl and his deputy, Alexander Linke, who also stops, are now doing everything they can to find suitable candidates. "The list of potential successors is not long," said Schießl, since many members shy away from the time of volunteering.

Despite the challenges, the Alpine wreath of Erding has flourished and currently has over 4,200 members. Under Schießl's leadership, the modern alpine center was opened on the Kronthaler Weiher, which offers numerous climbing routes and renovated club rooms. The association now plans to create full -time positions in the future to relieve management. Until the next general meeting in spring 2024, a new search for successors and a review of the club structures will be sought. Details stand on www.sueddeutsche.de .
