An incident on Sunday afternoon caused a sensation in Baiersdorf when a 21-year-old man injured a 20-year-old with a knife. The exact background of the dispute between the two men are still unclear, but the police were able to arrest the suspect shortly after the crime.

The dispute between the two young men between the ages of 20 and 21 began at around 5:30 p.m. in a joint accommodation on Burggrafenplatz. Suddenly the argument escalated when the 21-year-old pulled a knife and started the younger man. This suffered injuries that were luckily not life -threatening.

After residents of the accommodation alerted the police, the 21-year-old was initially able to flee on foot. However, the officers of the Erlangen-Land police inspection were able to put him near the accommodation and arrest it.
