Bloody gang feud: Process for shots in Stuttgart begins
In the Stuttgart district court, the trial against two young men, who are suspected, begins today to have shot a 34-year-old in the Zuffenhausen district last March. The 21 and 22-year-old Germans are on trial for attempted murder because they seriously injured their victim and occurred permanent paraplegia. A third accused, a 21 -year -old Turk, is charged with punishment because he disposed of the weapon after the crime.
The shots are part of a persistent series of violence between rival gangs in the Stuttgart region, which has been employed by investigators for over a year. In these violent clashes, territorial claims for power and personal honorary injuries play a central role. Since mid -2022, the situation has worsened due to numerous incidents, including an armed attack on a mourning community. According to assessments of the State Criminal Police Office (LKA), the groups involved belonged to over 500 people, whereby the motivation for gang crime remains unthinkable.
