A dramatic incident occurred in Neuffen on Wednesday afternoon when a 76-year-old paraglider got stuck in a tree top and injured. The man started at 3:30 p.m. at the North of the Startplace near the Wilhelmfelsen. After an unsuccessful left course for the Hohenneuffen castle ruins, he grazed the tree tops and remained caught at a height of about ten meters.

The mountain rescue had to intervene and free the accident from his predicament. Rescue workers supplied him on site and then transported him to a nearby hospital with an ambulance. The severity of his injuries is currently still unclear. The paraglider could only be recovered in daylight on Thursday, as the police report.
