Unforgettable excursion: church choir discovered the treasures of Esslingen!

Esslingen am Neckar, Deutschland - The Catholic church choir St. Johannes Ev. From Ummendorf has made an unforgettable trip to Esslingen am Neckar! In bright sunshine, the day started with a cozy breakfast before the trip to the historic city started. There were breathtaking sights: the majestic city gate from the 13th century, the flowering Agnesbrücke and the picturesque half -timbered house "Alte Zimmerei" immediately captivated the participants

A highlight of the day was a visit to the oldest sparkling wine cellar in Germany, "Kessler Sekt", where the well -prepared guides gave exciting insights into champagne production. The choir members then explored the old town with their medieval Schwörplatz and the impressive city church of St. Dionys. The day was musical in the Catholic Church of St. Paul, where the awesome Irish blessings "may be the street". After a last enjoyment of a delicious ice, the group started the return trip to Ummendorf happily and on time to end the day at a festive dinner in the Bräuhaus.
