Home app: Digital access to news for the Eifel citizens!

The new home app is there and brings a breath of fresh air to communication between citizens and municipalities in the Eifel! Since August, the municipality of Nettersheim has already achieved over 1,000 downloads with the "Heimat-Info" app. Citizens can now conveniently access information about club life, citizen service and even warning messages on their cell phone. Mayor Norbert Crump emphasizes the importance of this digital connection and adds: "Citizens should know what we do."

Seven municipalities from the Leader region Eifel, including Kall, Dahlem and Stolberg, have joined the project and benefit from generous support. The app is not only a communication channel, but also a helpful guide to digital administrative services. While the app is still in its infancy in most municipalities, Euskirchen is busy programming on its own smart city app, which is to be published in the next six months.
