There are no salaries: shipyards protest in front of FSG!
On Monday morning, protest campaigns started in front of the Flensburg Schiffbau-Gesellschaft (FSG), since around 80 employees from Flensburg and Rendsburg have been waiting for their salary since September. The unrest already sparked in the past week when employees demonstrated against corporate management. FSG and Nobiskrug, both owned by the investor Lars Windhorst, are the focus of criticism. The affected throwing employees urgently demand clarity about their outstanding wages, while the company has so far not made any statement.
In a tragic incident, a 17-year-old pedestrian near Fockbek was hit by a car and later succumbed to her serious injuries. According to the police, the exact course of the accident remains unclear. In addition, the U1 subway line from Norderstedt to Hamburg is closed until October 27, which forces passengers to plan significantly longer travel times. It is becoming increasingly difficult for the renaturation of rivers in Schleswig-Holstein because free space is scarce. In the handball Bundesliga, the SG Flensburg-Handewitt narrowly lost 30:31 in an exciting game against Hanover, slipping to the ninth place in the table.
