Autumnal sound in Heilbronn: a festival of wines and good mood
Heilbronn celebrated a colorful festival last weekend that heralded the last summer days. The start of the wine village brought together tens of thousands of visitors, who could choose from an impressive selection of around 400 wines and 170 dishes. The atmosphere was in a good mood and happy faces, while people gathered around the town hall of all ages.
The Mayor of Heilbronn, Harry Mergel, emphasized the importance of the festival in challenging times at the opening. He described the wine village as an opportunity in which the community is together. A "deeply down -to -earth festival" was celebrated, which delighted people and contributed to strengthening society. The freshly elected noble woman of autumn, Natalie Lumpp, and Herbstritter Hubert Vogt were celebrated enthusiastically during her appearances. In addition, the brass quintet "Brass Five" provided musical entertainment and encouraged visitors to sing along with traditional folk songs.
astonishing feedback and security
Security on the festival area was guaranteed despite the large number of visitors. The police and the Johanniter reported a calming balance, since there were no special occurrences and the number of operations remained low compared to other events. Only a few medical emergencies, such as wasp stitches and circulatory problems, required help. A total of seven people were taken to the hospital, which for a festival of this size is considered below average.
delegations from the partner cities of Solothurn and Frankfurt/Oder impressed by the ceremony in Heilbronn. A participant of the Kiwanis delegation from Frankfurt emphasized that such a festival in her city was "unthinkable", which underlines the special atmosphere and the spirit of the Heilbronn wine village.
However, the number of visitors suffered from the S4 tram loss and the sultry weather, which meant that many came to the festival late and thus also consumed fewer food. Despite these challenges, there were long snakes at the Dinnete stand-a popular starting point with freshly prepared Swabian specialties, which the operators described as a "hottest workplace".
