Street renovation in Weilrod: Hessen Mobil starts two construction projects in summer

During the summer vacation, Hessen Mobil starts with two renovation projects in the Weilrod region. These measures are intended to improve traffic safety and bring the streets to a better condition.

The federal road 275 will be renewed on a distance of 900 meters between Waldems-Reichenbach and Weilrod-Riedelbach. At the same time, parts of Kreisstraße 750 via Weilrod -Mauloff and Finsternerthal are modernized and repaired in several construction phases.

The work on both streets is carried out under full closures and is expected to be completed by the end of summer. Hessen Mobil uses the low -traffic time of the holiday to carry out the construction work efficiently.

On the B 275, the cover and binder layer is milled and replaced by new material. The affected section of the route is located near the “Tenne Waldems” parking lot towards Riedelbach. The work in this area will take about three weeks and the route is completely blocked.

During the construction work, a detour for road traffic is set up. Cars are diverted via the localities of Rod an der Weil and Dombach, while heavy goods traffic takes the way via Rod an der Weil, Schwickershausen and Bad Camberg.

At the same time, the sections of the K 750 between Finsternthal and Mauloff are renovated in several construction phases. The full closures last a few weeks in order to be able to carry out the work efficiently and to ensure the safety of the streets.

The residents and road users are asked to use the signposted diversions and to consider the construction work in order to ensure a smooth process.

The modernization of the B 275 and K 750 shows Hessen Mobil's commitment to bring the infrastructure in the Weilrod region up to date and to improve traffic safety.
