A life full of dedication: the teacher couple Mentzer in Aindling

The Aindlingen couple Anneliese and Jörg Mentzer recently celebrated their diamond wedding - a decade of marriage full of challenges and success stories! Met in Freiburg im Breisgau in 1960, the two ventured into marriage in 1964, although they came from modest conditions and shaped the aftermath of the war. After graduating from high school, they traveled to Munich, where they started their teacher careers.

While Anneliese Mentzer worked at school for over 30 years, Jörg Mentzer took over the management of young teachers in 1973. As the rector of the primary and secondary school, he was active until his retirement in 2001. Despite health restrictions, the two can still live in their house they have built today, supported by a 24-hour nursing staff. However, hobbies such as painting and playing piano had to give them up. However, you have a reason to celebrate the joy of nature and the togetherness of the terrace. The Mentzers are also proud to be founding members of the Franco-German partnership committee Aindling. A report .
