Mayor Krumbucher: 100 kilos lighter and more popular than ever
Rudelzhausen, a small place, is lucky enough to be in conversation not only through his decisions, but also through his personal transformation. Michael Krumbucher, who has ruled here for years, managed to lose weight over 100 kilos. The reason for this huge change lies deep in its health and a brave step towards an operation.
"In my best time I had a weight of 248 kilos," reports the mayor, while he is on his parents' farm in Hemmersdorf. This question of overweight accompanied him for a long time and finally led him to undergone a stomach reduction two years ago. This decision was not easy, but necessary because he had health problems that severely restricted him in everyday life. "My cross was really difficult for me," he says. The way to this decision was not easy, because diets had not brought him the desired results beforehand.
a normal start
Michael Krumbucher is a person who, despite his physical change, has preserved his humor and ease. As a fan of the Bavarian series "Somehow and anyway", he discovered a certain charm as a teenager that brought him the nickname "Sir" from his friends. This series not only shaped him, but also connects it with many residents of Rudelzhausen, which still call it that. He is currently weighing 108 kilograms and has discovered the love of healthy diet.
"For breakfast I treat myself to a toast, a fresh salad at lunch and preferably vegetables in the evening," he explains with a smile. His lifestyle has changed, but the connection to his old habits has remained. Above all, the comedy and the sayings from the series are part of his life - so it continues to pursue everything that is connected to "somehow and anyway".
improved quality of life
The changes he has lived through affect not only his weight, but also on his quality of life. "I can now move much better and have much less pain," he explains. Blood pressure has also become more healthy, and the annoying snoring is part of the past. He often sits relaxed next to friends who eat still lush roast pigs without it. "That doesn't matter to me," he laughs.
The stories of the spirit of optimism at the time in the 1960s and cultural development come into its own again and again in his stories. Despite his new lifestyle and his political responsibility, Krumbucher remains a deep connection to his roots and the region from which it comes from. "I am proud to be part of this community where the cohesion in the country is better," says the mayor, who rules with practicality and an open ear for the concerns of the citizens.
"We don't need a murder bureaucracy here, you just talk to each other." For Krumbucher, this is an everyday -determining principle that is particularly important to him in his role as mayor. And so he will continue to work in the community, with a new, lighter body and the determination to promote both his own and the health of his fellow human beings. His path is an example that can encourage others to take the challenges of their health into their own hands.
whether in the town hall or at the next meeting with the citizens, Michael Krumbucher remains the charming “Sir” from Rudelzhausen, no matter which kilos he lost on the scales. His humor and humanity bring him closer to the people who chose him.
