A challenge that faces the roofing trade is the increasing shortage of skilled workers in connection with an increasing number of storm damage. Despite the increasing willingness of real estate owners to invest in climate -friendly measures, these bottlenecks lead to longer waiting times for customers of the roofing companies.

The Bavarian roofing trade also relies on successful training in Waldkirchen in order to counteract the shortage of skilled workers. A special sign of these efforts is the establishment of a trainee dormitory with numerous sports and leisure opportunities that further increase the attractiveness of the region for young people.

The long -standing association leadership, including state guild master A. Ewald Kreuzer and his deputy Kay Preißinger, made a significant contribution to the development of the roofing trade in Waldkirchen. After many years of committed work, they are now passing on responsibility to the next generation, which will continue the successful tradition of the craft. - nag
