Regional management Freyung-Grafenau has set important course for future projects in its annual session under the direction of District Administrator Sebastian Gruber. In addition to the evaluation of the work of the past year, the main focus was on impulses for future development.
The steering group, consisting of representatives of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, the government of Lower Bavaria, the IHK Lower Bavaria and other regional actors, including representatives of the economy, school system and institutions, has dealt intensively with current projects.
In particular, the focus was on regional economic growth. Through targeted measures, the economic potential of the region should be further strengthened and expanded in order to ensure long -term sustainable development.
A crucial focus is on the creation of new jobs and the support of start -ups and young companies. Due to the close cooperation with the regional partners, innovative projects are to be promoted and implemented in order to sustainably increase the competitiveness of the region.
In addition, measures to strengthen the educational landscape are also discussed. A close integration of business and education is intended to ensure that the training of specialists meets the requirements of the regional economy and thus counteracts a shortage of skilled workers.
