Change of coaches in amateur football: Why the nerves lie blank!

In the Football Circle of Lower Bavaria Ost, it is boiling: Nine change of coaches within a few days! October is celebrated as a month of dismissals and resignations. Anton Autengruber, chairman of the "Community of Football Trainers" in Lower Bavaria, highlights the pressing problems: "The requirements have increased, the results are often out - that is worn by the coaches!"

At SpVgg Ruhmannsfelden, the coaching duo Erich Hagengruber and Martin Kreß recently resigned against Niederalteich after a weak performance (0: 3). Alois Wittenzellner, sporting director of the club, also reveals that the time before the winter break affects many decisions - the clubs want to go into the cold season with a positive feeling. The situation is tense with the dwindling interest in amateur sport and the pressure of players who do not receive enough playing time. "Resignation is often a personal decision," says Autengruber, who resigned from TSV Waldkirchen even in March 2023.

The weather turns over, the training is less visited - the conditions for the coaches are becoming increasingly harder. "We need more continuity and harmony in the clubs," says Autengruber. The future of the trainers and their teams hangs in the air while the tension continues to rise. There are details on these developments at www.pnp.de .
