Ultra Trail Champions from Upper Austria triumph over competition in Haidmühle

"" "" 3Kings3Hills "inspires with 1000 participants and impressive performance

Last Saturday the "3kings3Hills" trail and music festival took place in Haidmühle, where the hearts of around 1000 participants beat higher. Michaela Pilat and Oliver Kreindl, both 32 years old and from Upper Austria, showed a special achievement, who were able to win the Ultra Trail.

Michaela Pilat impressed with an almost unhindered run over the 54 kilometer route. Despite a fall in which she injured herself on the ribs, she was not stopped and reached the goal in less than six hours. Oliver Kreindl, professional fire brigade man and normally in triathlon sport, managed the same route in 5 hours and 17 minutes, despite a bleeding wound on the elbow.

The audience was able to cheer a total of 787 finishers, who fought themselves through the hilly landscape of the border triangle on the demanding trails. Despite the rainy weather and the mushy underground that let the runners sink to the knees, all participants were proud of their finisher medals.

The successful implementation of the festival would not have been possible without the energy and support of the over 120 helpers and volunteers. The organizers, especially Daniel Gotsmich from Hinterschmiding, were grateful for the immense help and emphasized the importance of the engagement of friends and helpers who had taken extra vacation to enable the event.

"3Kings3hills" impressively shows how sport and common services bring people together and strengthen community spirit in the region. The multitude of participants and the impressive performance on this day illustrate the importance and success of this popular trail event. ""- Nag
