Oktoberfest at the harbor: celebrate, joy and a little loss!

The Oktoberfest in Friedrichshafen, which took place from September 27th to October 6th, was a resounding success! With space for up to 1,600 guests and a diverse stage program, the event attracted people from all over the region, including numerous visitors from Switzerland and Austria. Organizer Naveed Malik was very satisfied, especially about the peaceful course of the celebrations. The security service did not have to settle incidents, and the police also did not report any events during the festival.

Despite the large number of visitors, Malik had to accept a minus business - the costs for tent construction, bands and advertising could not be covered. However, Malik plans to organize the Oktoberfest again next year and would like to count on the support of local clubs. "We have to try and be patient to establish the Oktoberfest," he said. The city administration intends to evaluate the event together with Malik before deciding on a possible continuation in 2025.
