HG Jever/Schortens starts with victory into the new handball year!

The HG Jever/Schortens celebrated an important victory at the beginning of the new year. In the opening game of the second half of the season, the team defeated TSV Daverden II with 30:26 (12:12). With this, the HG claims its fifth place in the Landesliga.

However, the game did not start optimally for the HG because it fell behind at an early stage. The trainer Enno Bruhnken criticized the initially weak 6-0 defense and, after a change to a 5: 1 defense, perceived a positive change in the game. Marnix Palum stood out with seven goals and received a special praise. Goalkeeper Mario Peters was also recognized for his outstanding performance.
