Zetel, Deutschland - The Wilhelmshaven/Friesland police inspection warns of a brazen fraud stitch that recently appeared in Zetel. A fraudster was out on the phone as a police officer and tried to blackmail 40,000 euros from a man as a deposit for his daughter, which is supposedly involved in a serious traffic accident. The cried act was initially with a lower sum, but became suspicious and informed the police. A young woman who was sent to pick up money had to flee without prey.
chief police commissioner Eugen Schnettler urged that such shock calls increase nationwide. The callers usually use perfidious argument to put their victims under pressure. He recommends showing distrust of unexpected calls, not revealing any personal information and never making money transactions on the phone. The police are now looking for witnesses who can provide information about the pick -up.
