Last chance: 100,000 euros for projects in Varel, Bockhorn and Zetel!

In a last act of the Varel-Friesische Wehde community foundation, 100,000 euros are now available for distribution to social projects in Varel, Bockhorn and Zetel. The foundation was dissolved and according to the information, the funds must be distributed according to the population. In Varel there is around 54,000 euros, around 27,000 euros in Zetel and a good 19,000 euros in Bockhorn. Applications can be submitted by associations, institutions and individuals, provided the projects serve the purpose of the foundation, which includes the promotion of young people and the integration of social marginalized groups.

The deadlines are set: Zetel will receive applications by November 30th at the e-mail address gemeinde@zetel.de, while Bockhorn accepts applications to gemeind@bockhorn.de or personally in the town hall up to a meeting on November 6th. Numerous applications have also been received in Varel since the foundation was announced, so that the funding volume has already been exaggerated, according to the municipal press office.
