Telekom is driving mobile phone expansion in Friesland - more reception for everyone!

Schortens, Deutschland - Telekom continues its expansion of mobile phone supply in Germany and especially in the Friesland district. In Schortens, an LTE location was recently expanded to improve the mobile services in the region. The budget cover in the Friesland district is now 99 percent, and the expansion of the LTE location is intended to increase both the bandwidth and improve the reception in buildings.

The bandwidth requirement increases by around 30 percent annually, according to Telekom. A total of 39 mobile communications locations are currently operated in the Friesland district. Three other locations are planned in the next three years, whereby the exact places still have to be determined. Telekom emphasizes the need for cooperation with municipalities and property owners to implement new locations. The company currently operates over 36,000 mobile communications locations across Germany and is planning the construction of around 1,500 new locations every year, such as nwzonline reported .
