Alcoholized driver leaves a 200-meter debris field on A95!

In the night of Saturday, a 39-year-old man from Farchant caused a frightening chaos on the A95 near Eschenlohe with his VW bus. The driver, who was heavily alcoholic, collided when driving off the B2 to the motorway with the road separation and left a 200 meter long rubble field. According to the first estimates, the property damage amounts to around 15,000 euros, with warning baks, traffic signs and a power box being damaged. The alkotest resulted in a value of over 1.6 per thousand, which led to a blood sample, while the highway had to be blocked in both directions for about three hours to clean the road.

Despite his insurance company, the driver was taken to the hospital for examination. Criminal proceedings are now being initiated against him for hazardous to road traffic, and his driver's license remains in the balance until further notice because he did not have it with him. A woman from Garmisch-Partenkirchen also suffered slight damage to her vehicle worth around 300 euros due to flying debris.
