Turbulent violence in Garmisch: brutally attacked couple!

A shocking incident occurred on Saturday, October 26, 2024, in Garmisch-Partenkirchen when a 46-year-old Turk attacked a couple and inflicted minor injuries. At the time of the crime, the man was apparently in a mental state of emergency. At around 11.50 a.m., one person alarmed the police after the attacker initially attacked a 64-year-old and then his 60-year-old wife on Rathausplatz. The injured woman had to be taken to a hospital on an outpatient basis while her husband was treated inpatient.

The assault was peaked when the man also attacked two police officers who came to help. Both police officers were slightly injured, but are not able to serve for the time being. The attacker was instructed to a psychiatric hospital on the instructions of the police. The Munich II public prosecutor's office has initiated investigations into assault and an active attack on enforcement officers.
