Boulder War it in Schalke: 200 climbers conquer the industrial halls!

In Gelsenkirchen-Schalke, an exciting bouldering event took place on Saturday, to which over 200 climbing enthusiasts flocked to an old industrial hall. At “Boulder Wars-Episode IV”, the participants were expecting 30 tricky climbing routes, which were designed with colorful aids: from “party pisting” as a handle to pool noodles that had to be avoided, as in the child's play “Dr. Bibber”. Even thick ropes invited to the momentum about imaginary abysses - an experience that promised a lot of skill and thrill.

The event that offered DJ entertainment and a barbecue in addition to climbing attracted many fans and promoted a sense of community among the active.
