An expensive fun: Gelsenkirchener drivers lost to speed crossing
A young driver from Gelsenkirchen recently experienced an expensive mishap when he was caught by a civilian patrol in a narrow residential street at excessive speed. Instead of the allowed 30 km/h, the 18-year-old was on the road with an incredible 90 km/h. This ruthless behavior brought him a number of consequences.
It happened on a Saturday in the Ückendorf area when the civil patrol stopped the young man around 9:30 p.m. The driver, a BMW driver, was stopped and checked at a traffic light. However, the 18-year-old reacted extremely aggressively and uncooperatively to the measures of the police.
The consequences for the novice drivers are serious: his driver's license was confiscated and he was not allowed to continue his journey. A longer lock, retraining and probably also a sensitive fine await him. It will take some time before he can sit behind the wheel again.
This story clearly shows how quickly a rash action can lead to serious consequences. It is important to adhere to the traffic rules and to respect the safety of all road users. Hopefully this event will serve as a warning for other young drivers to drive responsibly and to comply with the speed limits. - nag
