New Art Installation Captures Taylor Swift’s Spirit in Gelsenkirchen

In the Gelsenkirchen city center, a special work of art is currently being built: a huge acrylic image by Taylor Swift over 90 square meters causes a sensation. The three -dimensional painting created by the artists Vanessa and Lydia Hitzfeld shows the pop singer, who seems to jump out of the ground - depending on the point of view.

Vanessa Hitzfeld, which specializes in 3D road art, is working with her mother Lydia on this unique project. The fascination that emanates from the painting is that it is accessible to the public. It is not only for art collectors, but for all people who can enjoy it. Fans are even invited to enter the picture and photograph themselves with Swift's image.

The work of art not only reveals the face of the musician, but also symbolic details from her career. Butterflies from their debut album, the lucky number 13 and a snake that can be associated with their studio album "Reputation" are part of the painting.

The completion of the 90 square meter image is planned for Tuesday evening, in good time before Taylor Swift's first concert in Gelsenkirchen. The American singer will give a total of three shows in the Ruhr area city, which are expected by around 200,000 fans. Concerts in Hamburg and Munich follow to Gelsenkirchen.
