Violence between groups in Gladbeck and Gelsenkirchen: A worrying argument

In the past few weeks, the Gelsenkirchen and Gladbeck region has been shaken by a worrying incident that indicates deeper social tensions. In the early evening there were violent clashes in Gelsenkirchen-Horst and Gladbeck in which numerous people were involved.

When the emergency services arrived, the violent discussion had already ended. A violent collision that took a 30-year-old man from Gelsenkirchen to the hospital turned out to be particularly serious. His injuries could initially be considered life -threatening. There were also several slightly injured, including a 29-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man, both from Gladbeck. Different batshocks were secured on site, but no evidence of using a firearm in this discussion.

The police have cordoned off the location of the action and is currently carrying out security and investigative work.
