Taylor Swift cardboard displays conquer Gelsenkirchen: retail and gastronomy in fever

In the coming weeks, the shops and restaurants in the city centers of Gelsenkirchen will be decorated in a special way. The Stadtmarketing Gesellschaft Gelsenkirchen (SMG) is planning an action in which cardboard displays from Taylor Swift are distributed to interested restaurants, restaurants and retailers. These cardboard displays of the US Megastar are set up in various areas of the city, such as the City, Buer and Horst, as well as in the beer garden of Bergen Castle.

The campaign was launched as part of the preparations for the three upcoming concerts by Taylor Swift in Gelsenkirchen. According to SMG marketing director Sandra Falkenauer, the shopping centers with various decorations for the many fans, also known as "Swifties", are to be decorated. In addition to the cardboard displays, there will be banner, flags and pennant chains in Bahnhofstrasse and in the station center. In addition, the red frames at frequented locations are decorated in the city centers and about 30 "Swiftkirchen-Schilden" are hung in the city.

Thomas Jablonski, head of the business development department of the city of Gelsenkirchen, emphasized the importance of this action for the local economy. He is looking forward to the upcoming event and hope that many "Swifties" can be welcomed in the city centers. Economic development is therefore happy to support the planned activities for gastronomy and retail, including the Taylor Town program and the decoration of the Meißner pavilion on the Heinrich König-Platz.

The first cardboard displays have already been handed over to shops in Gelsenkirchen. City manager Angela Bartelt and those responsible for business development, Sandra Falkenauer and Thomas Jablonski, handed over the Taylor Swift figures to shops such as Olymp & Hades and the Roman Schmitz fashion house. Clive Huesken from the "Fidalgo" in Buer also received a Taylor Swift figure as part of this special action.

interested catering businesses and retailers in Gelsenkirchen still have the opportunity to secure one of the few available cardboard displays. Inquiries can be addressed to the SMG on Monday, July 15, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., to Melanie Meding on telephone number 169-4908. This campaign is expected to bring the community together in Gelsenkirchen and ensure a happy atmosphere in the inner cities. - nag
