Salva alarm: Gelsenkirchen is preparing for constant rain!
In Gelsenkirchen, the German Weather Service raises the alarm! A severe weather warning of level 2, the third highest level, applies to the entire city until Thursday morning. From now on, the citizens have to adjust to continuing rain, with rainfall between 30 and 50 liters per square meter. In certain regions, up to 60 liters per square meter could even fall!
The warning, which is valid until Thursday, October 10th, at 10 a.m., calls on the population for caution. Road traffic is particularly advisable to avoid dangerous underpasses because flooding threatens. The emergency app "Nina" has already pointed out the dangers and warns of floods. Stay vigilant and protect yourself from the forces of nature! Further information can be found here .
