Diamond wedding: married couple Heid celebrate 60 years together in Neupotz

a review of the years together

Heinz (84) and Renate Heid, born Kuhn (82), look back on a fulfilling life on Saturday, August 10th while celebrating their diamond wedding in the Neupotzer parish hall. This special anniversary celebration is not just a personal milestone, but a symbol of the resistance of relationships in a fast -moving time.

a common story

The history of the couple begins in their youth in the idyllic Neupotz. The two lovers state that it "sparked" during the wedding of Renates brother Karl, a close friend of Heinz. A deep bond developed through common dances in the “Karpfen” inn, which finally led to the wedding. This shows how social gatherings in the community often act as catalysts for relationships.

a varied life in the sign of agriculture

Heinz Heid grew up in a family in which the craft and agriculture played a central role. He learned the art of basket braid early on from his father and helped in the family business, which also added tobacco. The change in agriculture, especially due to the pollutant infestation of the tobacco, brought Heinz to take a new professional direction. After his time at the Singer and Siemens sewing machine factory, he returned to agriculture and built up his own Aussiedlerhof. This story reflects how agricultural families have to adapt to changed economic conditions.

family life and commitment in the community

Renate Heid also played a significant role in family business. After a short -term job in kindergarten and the shirting factory, she devoted herself to the family and the farm. It is interesting that despite her musical passion for the church choir, she was not allowed to actively sing after her marriage due to the club regulations at that time. Nevertheless, she still remains a member of the Seerose Music Association. A proof of how club life can also have barriers that need to be overcome.

celebrations in the sign of the family

The wedding celebration is accompanied by a service in the Neupotzer Church and continued in the family circle with their son Detlef and three grandchildren. Such family gatherings strengthen the community and contribute to maintaining family traditions and values.

a lifelong partnership

The couple always stood together despite the challenges that life as farmers brought with them. Her life story illustrates the interplay of personal dedication, community commitment and the willingness to adapt to new conditions. The upcoming diamond wedding is a feast of life, love and consistency, which can also be a role model for future generations.
