In the night of July 6, 2024, an incident occurred in Neustadt that focuses on traffic safety in the city. A 36-year-old man from Haßloch was drunk with his Renault Clio and initially fled with the vehicle in front of the police.
An attentive resident informed the police that the man rang the rang in an alcoholic state and then drove away with his car. The police were able to find the driver on Adolf-Kolping-Straße.
