Creative exchange: Intercultural theater project starts in Neuss

Neuss. On September 30, 2023, an exciting and intercultural theater project under the title "The Intercontinental in Neuss®" will start in the NRW off-theater. This innovative joint project is implemented in cooperation with the specialist service for Integration and Migration (FIM) of the Caritas Social Services Rhein-Kreis Neuss. It offers a platform for creative encounters and cultural exchange.

The theater project is aimed at all interested parties from the age of 18, regardless of whether they have a migration background or not. What is special: theater experience is not required. Rather, it is about enjoying the game and together to discover creative forms of expression. The artistic direction is in the hands of the experienced music and theater teacher Chujun (Mila) Li, who will create an inspiring space for the participants with her knowledge and passion.

participants have the opportunity to get to know different cultural forms of expression and thus exchange ideas about cultural differences and similarities. This exchange is particularly valuable and is intended to help build bridges between different cultures. The meetings take place on Mondays from 5:30 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. and extend until December 16, 2024, which offers the participants enough time to dive deep into the matter.

The importance of the project is also underlined by promoting the Ministry of Children, Youth, Family, Equality, Equality and Integration of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia. It proves the state government's commitment to cultural diversity and the support of integration projects. In addition, the theater project is a valuable opportunity to bring local communities together and promote a common identity.
