Potsdam celebrates 20 years of integration price: projects that live diversity

The 20th awarding of the integration price recently took place in the state capital Potsdam, an event that celebrates the diversity and cohesion in the city. This annual award, which is carried out in cooperation with Propotsdam GmbH, honors outstanding initiatives and individuals who are committed to integration and coexistence in Potsdam. "Potsdam is a livable city that is characterized by its diversity," says Schubert. With projects that promote the exchange and cooperation between people of different origins, the city shows that integration is a common concern.

The integration price, which was launched in 2005, emphasizes remarkable initiatives every year that contribute to promoting intercultural dialogue and social participation. The winners in 2024 were elected by an independent jury that consists of various experts and representatives of society.

The integrative work in Potsdam shows how important it is to create rooms for exchange and understanding. Events such as the Integration Award ceremony make it clear that each initiative makes a valuable contribution to the formation of an open and diverse society.
