Dispute for property management: owner meeting causes excitement in Dietzenbach
The situation in the five high-rise buildings of the Spessartviertel in Dietzenbach continues. More than 3,200 mostly older residents are unsettled because the real estate management FFM GmbH has become the focus of a serious conflict again.
The heart of the problem
Walter Fontaine, co-managing director of the home-owned company Dietzenbach, wants to vote out the property management and has allied with other owners to use the meeting in the Trip Inn Hotel Nieder-Roden. His goal? A change in the management of the buildings to end the problems that the current administrator Marcel Haufschild has caused. Fontaine speaks of immense debts to municipal suppliers and criticizes that the administration has been driving the auditing for years.
The atmosphere of fear
Numerous security measures shaped the owners' meeting. Marcel Haufschild, who could be shielded by a security team, controlled the full attorney of the owners present. This emphasized Silvia Ohde that Haufschield's procedure is already reinforcing the uncomfortable feeling that many owners felt. "It seems as if we were here at a meeting of serious criminals," she said outraged by the situation.
The session and its consequences
Despite the intensive preparation and the meeting, which lasted over several hours, Fontaine and its allies were unsuccessful. The desired deselection of the property management was not brought to a vote. "We have not reached the goal. Everything remains as it was," Fontaine reported disappointed after the turbulent meeting, in which critics were referred to from the hall. The conflict between the community of owners and the property management thus remains unresolved and the concerns of the residents are growing over the future.
The relevance for the residents
The difficulties with which the community of owners is confronted are not just internal conflicts. The high debt of property management and the defective management have direct effects on the quality of life of the residents. Fontaine described that the property management had missed the payment of invoices to urban suppliers of 1.8 million euros, which had led to a standstill in the supply. According to Haufschild, the administration without notice would only make the situation worse. The waves between Jürgen Haufschield and the owners remain high and the need for a successful administration comes to the fore.
