Gießener dancers shine at the federal competition in Frankfurt!

In Gießen, the Landgraf-Ludwigs-Gymnasium shows that its students can shine not only in the academic field, but also on the parquet of the dance floor. In the 5th national competition "Dancing at school", which took place in Frankfurt, the LLG pairs convinced with their excellent performance. The event, which draws a quota of participants in different age groups, has again given the Gießen high school the opportunity to prove its skills.

in competition class I, which was advertised for years 2008 and older, competed in a total of five couples from the LLG. The sweet dance duos-consisting of Saskia Mocha and Johanna Schwan, Franziska Ewald and Carlotta Roeb, Kilian Rudolph and Marlene Havemann, Yi Rui Woo and Anna-Sophie Weber as well as Hannah Fink and Hannah-Marie-had prepared intensively for this moment and showed this in the preliminary round. All couples danced safely and effortlessly made the jump into the semi -finals, which is already a remarkable performance.

The tension grew when the final participants were announced. The couples Franziska and Carlotta, Kilian and Marlene as well as Yi Rui and Anna-Sophie were able to look forward to the invitation to the final. Here the dancers showed all their skills and impressed the jury with their performances. In the end, the jury had to be decided in the overall ranking: Franziska and Carlotta took sixth place, while Kilian and Marlene won third place and Yi Rui and Anna-Sophie. This meant that the LLG team was able to get the runner -up title with one point in the overall ranking.

The success in the federal competition is not only an award for the talented dancers, but also a sign of the versatile promotion of the students at the Landgraf-Ludwigs-Gymnasium.
