Influence of the blocking in front of the Münster Kreuz on commuters and bus traffic
The upcoming blocking of the state road 3481 between the Münster Kreuz and the entrance to the Laubach district of Münster not only affects drivers, but also has an impact on local public transport. The renovation of the road section, which will be carried out by Hessen in the coming weeks, requires a large -scale diversion and influences the operation of line 372 and school traffic.
The work that starts at the beginning of the summer vacation and are expected to last until September require the complete blocking of the L3481, which leads to significant detours. The construction costs of around 740,000 euros are borne by the state of Hesse.
During the renovation work, both the road and the area around the Münster Kreuz are significantly rebuilt to increase traffic safety. The road section is provided with new asphalt layers and a road divider should regulate the speed of the vehicles.
The diversion for car traffic leads over various district and country roads and also affects residential traffic. The blocking means a major logistical challenge for bus traffic.
Line 372 must take a large -scale detour via Ettingshausen and Queckborn from Monday and drive according to a construction site timetable. Passengers who want to start Münster have to switch to the GI-64 line.
For students of the Theo-Koch School, there are changes in the timetable after the holidays that affect the journey to school. In addition, the call line taxi on the GI-64 Münster line will also start on weekends.
Overall, the blocking of the L3481 in front of the Münster Kreuz is a major challenge for commuters, bus travelers and students, which are impaired by the detours and timetables.
