A 53-year-old jet ski driver got into a threatening situation in the middle of the Mittelland Canal when his jet ski stumbled. The man started at 1:15 p.m. to warm the engine for an upcoming oil change, but the engine suddenly failed - an emergency call was discontinued at 1:25 p.m. Residents heard their calls for help and immediately alerted the emergency services.

quickly the fire brigade moved out with a rubber boat to save the driver in need. They pulled it safely to the sheet piling and dragged the jet ski to the slip system.
