Pilot Notlandet Cessna172 in the rapeseed field: guests unharmed

Eislingen - emergency landing of a small aircraft

On Saturday evening, an unusual incident occurred via Eislingen, which luckily ended without injuries. A pilot flew his Cessna172 with three passengers on board when the engine suddenly failed. This emergency situation forced the pilots to find a safe landing option to prevent a catastrophe.

The crucial moment had come - the pilot decided to land his plane on a rapeseed field between Eislingen and Krummwälde. Despite the unexpected incident, the experienced pilot managed to get the plane safely to the ground without anyone being injured.

The occupants, including a 33-year-old adult as well as a 14-year-old child and an 8-year-old child, were able to get out of the plane unscathed. Both the pilot and the passengers were relieved that nothing had happened to them in this emergency.

After a first inspection, it turned out that the plane had not suffered any damage. The agricultural damage caused by the rough landing is regulated by the farmer and the insurance of the aircraft.

This incident once again shows how important it is that pilots can act quickly and carefully in emergency situations. Fortunately, thanks to the engagement and skills of the pilot, the emergency landing ended without injuries or major damage.
